Admire the bird colonies on a boat trip in the Danube Delta

How does the experience work?

Departure is from Tulcea Port, which is less than 5 minutes away on the Danube. Then you enter by boat on Channel 36 "the gates of the Danube Delta in the Tulcea area". The channel is about 10 m wide and rich in flora. Here you can also see some of the fauna: small and large egrets, cormorants and grey herons.

After observing the fauna you will enter the Trofilca canal, a canal about 4 m wide. Here you can often see blue gulls and other bird species. 

Sailing continues in the area of North Sireasa, where you will see the Lake with Cotete, a place with numerous yellow and white water lilies. Also here you will see different species of birds, swans, yellow snakes, buzzards, small and large cormorants, loons, barn owls, and sometimes even pelicans. The return trip is on Channel 36.
