Climbing initiation courses for children, in Bucharest

How does a session go?

Each session starts with a general and specific physical warm-up. In the first session your child will be introduced to the gym equipment, safety rules, and shown the routes appropriate to their age and level. Afterwards, learning and perfecting specific climbing techniques comes through various exercises and themes, different at each session.

When are the courses organised? 

Throughout the year (including holidays), except for Easter, Christmas and New Year. You can start a climbing course at any time; there are no fixed starting dates.

SAFETY: access to the climbing hall is only allowed on the basis of the completion of the safety declaration, whereby you become aware of the rules to be respected in the hall and the risks involved in climbing. 

The SAFETY DECLARATION must be signed in the case of minors by the parent, guardian, coach or person authorised by the parent or guardian at the hall, in the presence of the designated hall staff.

Details of the experience:

• The location is in Bucharest
• Duration of a session is 2 hours
• Children between 5 and 14 years old can participate
• Experience includes instructor and safety equipment (harness, ropes, safety devices)
• The difficulty level of the experience is beginner and intermediate
• Personal equipment needed: sports clothing, change of gym shoes, magnesium (you can get it from the gym), climbing shoes (you can rent them from the gym or you can use for the beginning sport shoes, as fixed on the foot)
• The experience cannot be scheduled on public holidays
• Experiences are a monthly subscription for 30 days (from the first session)
• Experiments are carried out in groups of maximum 4 children. So either you form a group of 4 children and add 4 experiences to the basket, or you wait for the provider to form a group

Important to know: 

• It is strictly forbidden for children to play in the room and adjacent areas, to run around the room or on the bouldering mats, to play with the sports equipment in the warm-up area, and to be present in the room without a parent, guardian or instructor
• Experiences are subject to availability (booking in advance is required)
• Voucher is valid for 12 months for one child
