We invite you to a fairytale place. More precisely, in a museum that also serves as a workshop. Here you will find a new cultural space, opened in the heart of an old potters' village. You will be able to take a close look at the collection of peasant pottery and many other attractions. 

We propose some unique experiences that will relax you and open new horizons.  

Getting initiated into different carving techniques is a rare endeavour. You don't really have anywhere and you don't really know why you would do it... The diversity of techniques, language and options of contemporary art takes the classical theme of sculpture even further away from the public, although sculpture in its classical sense remains present in public spaces and museums all over the world. 

The most common theme is the portrait, that effigy that reminds us of certain personalities by bringing their faces into the contemporary world. But the portrait, as an approach to discovering the human face and the challenge to recreate it, is a human and artistic experience in itself. Once you have gone through it, you will look at every sculpture and every face in a completely different way and you will understand much more about the work of the artists. 

An experience that brings knowledge and openness to man and his beauty in general and probes your creative powers. Virgil Scripcariu is a sculptor and is passionate about portraiture. He inherited his love for portraiture from his master, the sculptor Vasile Gorduz. Virgil Scripcariu has created many busts of personalities for public space but also many portraits of "anonymous". He has also built contemporary art projects based on portraits modeled after nature. With Virgil Scripcariu you can enter the laboratory of creation and realization of a portrait.
