Experience connecting with clay - pottery workshop, in Bucharest

This pottery workshop is for you if you would like to experience the magic of clay and want to create a ceramic object yourself from a simple piece of clay. And for our partners, play is beneficial, so they have prepared a clay modeling workshop perfect for a unique gift experience that can be tried by both adults and children.

So, we expect you to create freely, make mistakes as you create, or realize that your initial idea doesn't work as you thought. No problem! You'll learn to become more present as you try to approach your creation from a different perspective until you reach your final goal.

The pottery session starts with a demonstration and introduction to the process of working with clay on the potter's wheel, namely the main steps of pottery: preparing the clay, centering the clay on the potter's wheel and forming the clay pot. Then for an hour, you will enjoy the state of presence that the clay gives you, you will play with it, picking it up, squeezing it until the clay becomes obedient and transforms into what you want.

Throughout the session you will be guided through demonstration and practice on the pottery wheel by a trainer. At the end of the workshop you have the option to leave the pottery you have created at the workshop, to pass the fire test and transform into a functional object to enjoy every day.

• The resulting vessels will be fired in the kiln and can be picked up later from the workshop
