Basically, axe throwing is a sport in which the competitor throws towards a target with the aim of hitting the center. This target is a slice of a coloured log with concentric circles and scores marked on each circle. The centre represents the maximum score, the whole process being similar to archery.

Interestingly, axe throwing is a test of any lumberjack competition, and a skilled thrower will only swing the axe once in the air and throw, so the blade will pierce the target perfectly.

Of course, this sport should always be practised safely and under the guidance of professionals, especially for people new to this activity - aspects that are not lacking in experience.
