About the lecturer:
Radu Grozescu had his first contact with photography at the age of 12 when he received a Smena 8M camera as a gift from his grandparents. It wasn't long before it turned into a passion, which led to a black and white lab, then to Zenit and Praktica cameras, with which he discovered macro photography and, later, interchangeable lenses.
In due course it also meant a career change, having several photography-related jobs, then working as a newspaper and magazine photojournalist, beginning the transition to becoming a professional photographer.
He changed cameras and switched to Nikon, having F401, then F801, F90, F4s. 6 years before the digital camera explosion, he became a freelance photographer and worked as a professional photographer for commercial clients and magazines.
Nowadays he works with Nikon FX and DX DSLR cameras, and has Nikon zoom lenses (14-24/2.8, 24-70/2.8, 70-200/2.8), as well as fixed lenses (Samyang 12/2.8 fish-eye, Nikon: 20/1.8, 35/1.8, 85/1.8, 105/2.8 macro and 85/2.8 PC).
For travel photography and to cover the mirrorless area in courses, he chose Sony APS-C cameras with several lenses: Samyang 8/2.8 fish-eye and 12/2.0, Sigma 16/1.4 and 56/1.4, Sony 18-135/3.5-5.6 and 16-55/2.8.
In the area of commercial photography he specializes in presentation photography for companies: portraits, architectural photography, technology, industrial photography, product photography, tourism, events.
In 2008 he started a series of introductory courses dedicated to the use of Nikon DSLR cameras, then he added the one dedicated to Sony mirrorless cameras.
In 2012, I started teaching an F64 Accredited Photography Course.
