Public Speaking Workshop, using acting methods, in Bucharest

Do you have a job that involves public speaking? Are you nervous when you have to give a speech or when all eyes are on you when you speak? We invite you to a Public Speaking Workshop, including acting methods, that will take you out of your comfort zone and help you to eliminate your blocks and emotions. 

During the 8-hour workshop, you will learn what are your own inner springs that you can rely on to control your blocking emotions and the drag you feel during speeches, whether we are talking about professional or personal speeches.

You will learn how to convey information to be understood by your interlocutor, while you achieve a goal you have, whether it is motivating, convincing or informing. You will be able to express yourself with authenticity and naturalness in both professional and personal environments. You will be able to adapt your stories and speeches to different environments and audiences, because in the program we will practice all these things, creating a safe and friendly environment where there will be no room for "mistakes". 

The programme runs along three strands: 

training of diction, attention, concentration - through creativity and play - storytelling and speech. You will then be able to write, memorise and deliver spontaneous speeches on the spot or on a given topic for 1 minute, 3 minutes or 5 minutes. The method used to access authenticity and creativity is play, one of the oldest and most effective learning methods. Acting methods are the basis of the training phase and will be used throughout the programme.

Details of the experience: 

• The workshop takes place monthly and takes place in Bucharest, at the Rin Central Hotel (or another central location to be communicated later, as appropriate)
• The experience includes 3 workshop sessions, held on different months. Once you participate in the first session, you are expected to be a special guest at two other sessions
• The duration of a session is 8 hours, from 10:00 to 18:00
• The workshop includes practical exercises and acting methods
• Trainer: Lacramioara Brecea, Public Speaking trainer and founder of Workshop de Public Speaking, using acting methods
