On December 22, 1989, at 12:07, Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife flee by helicopter from the roof of the Communist Party Headquarters - the place we now call Revolution Square - escaping the fury of 100,000 people who surrounded the building demanding his resignation.
Because he intended to regroup and fight back, to keep his supreme power over Romania, which he had for almost 24 years, Nicolae Ceausescu leaves for Pitesti, in search of support from the working class and the army, but is caught the same day, 7 hours later, near Targoviste.
The experience is a unique reconstruction, following chronologically all the steps of the dictator's escape from Bucharest, to the place where he was captured on December 22, 1989 and then executed 3 days later, on Christmas Day. This re-enactment of the race against the clock also offers an exploration of the emotions, fears and decisions made that day by the man who ruled Romania with an iron fist for 24 years.
A fully restored 1989 classic Dacia is the car Nicolae Ceausescu built for the people, the one he drove for the first and last time, only on the day he was captured.
