Choose the activity of your choice:
Extracurricular activity in kayak/pers
Kayaking is an outdoor sport that develops balance, strength, skill, effort capacity and distributive attention. In the training process, several other complementary sports such as swimming, running and gymnastics are practiced. It strengthens self-confidence (not everyone has the courage to brave the waters, although it is not dangerous) and respect for nature.
Children will learn a brief history of kayaking, from its origins to the present, the results of the Romanian fleet over time, types of boats, paddles and safety rules.
Children will learn how to paddle and how to handle a kayak on the lake. The fun continues on the water, accompanied by the club coach. Together they will do a full tour of the lake, then race each other over a short distance, putting the skills they have learned to good use. The activity will take place on Lake Titan. Thematic trips on the water such as treasure hunts, nature conservation, flora, fauna and other interactive games can also be organised, depending on the students' experience and age.
Extracurricular activity in dragon boat/pers
The Dragon Boat is a 12-metre long boat in which 20 people row on either side. In addition to these 20 rowers, the crew also includes a drummer who keeps the rhythm with constant drum beats and a boatman. At the helm of the dragon boat will be the club coach.
Dragon boating is a traditional Chinese activity, over 2000 years old, and made its debut as a modern sport in Hong Kong in 1976.
Children will learn how to row together in the dragon boat and what safety rules they must follow.
It is a new team sport in Romania, which is practiced outdoors and develops balance, strength, skill, timing and distributive attention. Children can practice it from the age of 8. For this activity you need a minimum group of 8 people (children) and a maximum of 40 people (children).
