Stand up paddle on Lake Paltinu - admire the mountains and Doftanei Valley

Rediscover Lake Paltinu from a natural and eco-friendly perspective, paddling on the turquoise water waves, surrounded by the endless green of the forest and the imposing weight of the mountains. Learn SUP, improve your SUP technique with talented instructors, go to all corners of the lake, take a swim, if it's too hot, get a tan, train and have a snack on the water. The clear water of this lake in the Doftana Valley is a unique alternative to spend a day in the mountains, away from the crowds and surrounded by joy and relaxation.

Stand up paddle is a derivative of surfing, which originated in Hawaii. Unlike traditional surfing, where the athlete waits until the wave pushes the board, stand up paddlers use a paddle to propel themselves into the water.

Stand up paddleboarding as a sport was first mentioned in 2013, with most of the athletes who practice it present in the US. Variations of the sport include elements such as yoga, racing on lakes, paddling on ocean waves and even fishing.

Description of the experience:

Departure at 10:00 from Bucharest, transport is provided optionally, within the limit of available places, additional cost of 50 lei with payment on that day, to the partner, or you can go directly to Lake Paltinu, meeting the group at 12:00.

The SUP's will be prepared and you will receive the traning from our friendly instructors and guides.

You will explore for about 2 and a half hours the rarely seen parts of the lake and relax.

After the walk, smiles, photos and good cheer, you can choose to stay for a picnic surrounded by the mountain scenery or visit a well-known local pasture.

At the end you will be brought back to the starting point, if you have chosen partner transport.
