Weekend adventure with rafting and kayaking in the Banat area

Weekend with the kayak on the wild Bega. Whenever you want to pause the urban noise, the Wild Bega is an incredibly relaxing place near the city. It is rather a picturesque adventure, to observe the birds, to socialize and to spend a healthy time in nature.

• Period: April - October, every Saturday and Sunday;
• Time interval: 09:00 - 11:00;
• Difficulty level: Easy, no previous experience required.

The Mures meadow seen from the kayak is a unique experience in which you discover for 3 hours the wilderness in the autumn colors of Mures. We are crossing the wildest passage of the reservation, an ecosystem declared a protected area with a remarkable biodiversity in Romania. It includes over 200 species of birds, galleries of protected trees and about 40 islands.

• Period: April-October (weekends only);
• Time interval: 11:00 - 15:00;
• Difficulty level: Technical - easy;
• Effort - medium;
• We will be training on the spot on kayak handling techniques. Also, all participants will wear life jackets, whether they know how to swim or not;
• Maximum number of seats in the kayak: 9.

Rafting on Nera. Itinerary every Saturday we will enjoy the Nera Gorges both by boat and by stops at the shore in particularly beautiful places, difficult to reach by other means. The karst relief, the color of the Devil's Lake, the legend and the diversity of species that live here will be the perfect setting for an ALL-IN day in the middle of nature.

• Period: April-September (Saturdays and Sundays);
• Duration: 5 hours. Length: 20 km;
• During the summer, July-September, Rafting can be done only if the weather allows and the precipitation amounts are appropriate;
• Difficulty level: Easy, family friendly (children over 10 years);
• Minimum number of participants: 8 people.

Personal equipment required:

• Swimsuit
• Wet shoes;
• Changing clothes
• Sunscreen
• Sunglasses
• Water Bottle
• Food
• Towels

Equipment provided by the partner:

• Individual neoprene suit & neoprene socks
• Yawn
• Safety vest
• Boats & boat

Important! The neoprene suit and socks ensure adequate thermal comfort even at lower temperatures.

The experience includes:

• Technical equipment necessary for the descent on the river;
• Skilled and enthusiastic rafting guides;
• Detailed on-site training so we can enjoy the safety experience;
• Photographs and filming;
• Car transport Sasca Montana-Sopotu Nou.

The experience does not include:

• Transportation to Sasca Montana;
• Food;
• No previous rafting experience required.

Important to know:

• We will conduct on-site training in the use of equipment, rowing equipment and other safety features;
• The rafting tour through the Nera Gorges is not a tour for thrills and adrenaline. The river is calm, the purpose of the exit is to enjoy nature and to see the keys from a new perspective. The tour is accessible to anyone, even if you don't know how to swim;
• The voucher is valid for 12 months for one person;
• Where the experience is done in groups of minimum 8 people, you will have to wait for one to form, if you can't come with a group of 8 people yourself;
• The experience is valid within the available seats (a reservation is required in advance).
